Using Reverse IP to check websites per host ratio

Postby talshk on Thu Aug 14, 2008 4:55 pm

HostPedia has released a tool called "reverse ip" that allows users to examine which websites are hosted on a web server.

By supplying a domain name or an ip address you can find out:
1. Amount of websites hosted on the same ip as yours
2. The domain names of those websites.

Our reverse ip check tool is unique because most of the other reverse ip tools are only good for .com's and other very popular tlds, and usually leaving out the local ones (which is quite a lot).
In addition, knowing the names of those websites is valuable information and usually requires you to pay; at hostpedia it's FREE of course. You should know if you use the same host as websites how link to you (might damage your SEO), banned websites or ones that use a significant percentage of the web servers resources.

Go to our reverse ip search page to give it a try.

Please send us feedback on this tool so we can improve it to fit your specific needs.
